How to register as an Avis Now user?

You must first download the Avis Now app from the App Store or Google Play, and then you can provide the necessary information and register your account. To use the service, you need to add a working payment card, and for renting a car, also a driver's license.
It only takes a few minutes to set up an account, and you're ready to go!

How to add a driver's license?

To add a driver's license, select "My profile" and "Upload a driver's license" from the menu. Follow the instructions, and the driver's license will be checked in a few minutes.

How to add/delete a payment card?

To add a payment card, select "My Account" and "Add/Edit Payment Card" from the menu. To check the performance of the payment card, we reserve 50 cents from it. The amount will be added to your Avis Now account and can be used as a prepayment for your next trip.

You can remove the card by selecting "Delete payment card" in the "My profile" application. Please note that the card can only be removed from the app if there are no debts in your account.

Before starting a trip, always check that you have selected the correct payment method. Once a trip has started, it cannot be changed later or billed using a different form of payment.

How to use the Avis Now application?

Open the Avis Now app and see all the available vehicles on the map.

- Using the car. If you plan to drive longer than 4 hours, we recommend that you buy a ride package before you start driving, because this way we can offer the best price. Once you have selected a suitable vehicle from the map, you can book it for free for 15 minutes. Before starting to drive, check the vehicle for new damage. If the damage is not marked with a gray arrow-shaped sticker, take pictures of it and send them to info@avisnow.eu. If there is no new visual damage, press "Start driving" in the application and open the car doors. To end the trip, the car must be parked in the same place where you started the trip - each vehicle has its own designated parking place. When you have parked the car, leave the keys in the car and press "Finish the drive". The car doors lock automatically. At the end of the trip, you can rate your Avis Now driving experience. If the car has any problems or needs cleaning, leave us a comment, and we will take care of it.

- Use of a scooter. Once you have selected a suitable scooter from the map, you can book it for free for 15 minutes. Before starting to drive, make sure that 1) the battery is sufficient for the intended ride, 1) the scooter is visually drivable, and 3) the tires are in good condition and with sufficient pressure. You can also open the scooter by scanning the QR code of the sticker on the scooter handlebar. To start riding, press "Start riding," and the scooter will switch on. To start riding, first push the scooter slightly forward so that it comes off the support leg. Step on the standing plate with one foot and push a small momentum to the scooter. Then press the accelerator button on the right side of the handlebar to accelerate and the brake on the left side to decelerate. Check that the brakes are working properly, that the accelerator can be used for acceleration, and that the scooter does not make any strange noises while riding. If the scooter is not ridable, let us know at our 24-hour support number +372 605 1144. To end the ride, the scooter must be returned to the same place where you started riding. When you have parked the scooter, press "Stop riding" on the application. The scooter locks automatically. At the end of the ride, you can rate your Avis Now riding experience. If there are any problems with the scooter, leave us a comment, and we will take care of it.

How old do you have to be to use Avis Now services?

You must be at least 21 years old to use the cars. The rider of a scooter must be at least 16 years old.

How do I add a promotional code?

You can add a promotional code under "My Account". If the app doesn't accept the promotional code, make sure the promo code hasn't expired and meets the requirements of the campaign and that there are no typos. If you're still unable to use the promo code, please email us a screenshot of the issue at info@avisnow.eu.

Cars

What is a ride package?

A ride package is a package consisting of time and mileage. If you plan to drive longer than 4 hours, we recommend choosing a suitable ride package.

When will the package be activated?

The ride package must be activated within 24 hours of purchase. The ride package is activated when you have initiated driving in the application.

What happens if I exceed the time or kilometer limit included in the package price?

If the time and/or kilometer limit included in the ride package is exceeded, using the car will continue on the basis of the current tariff. A separate invoice will be sent for the number of minutes, and/or kilometers exceeded.

What should I do if I forget to buy a ride package before starting the trip?

The ride package must be purchased before starting the trip. If you forget to do so, you will have to end the current ride at the starting point, buy a suitable ride package and start a new ride.

Can I buy a new ride package if the previously purchased ride package expires while driving?

No, you cannot. Ride packages can only be purchased before you start driving. You have the opportunity to end your current ride at the starting point, buy a new ride package and start a new ride.

Where can I park the car?

To end the trip, the car must be parked in the same place where you started the trip - each vehicle has its own designated parking place. During the period of use of the car, the car may be parked where parking is permitted. Follow local traffic and parking regulations. In paid zones or in private car parks, the driver must pay for parking. If necessary, you can use the parking clock available in the car.

The car is running out of fuel. Where can I refuel?

Car refueling is free for you and can be done at the nearest Circle K station. You can find the fuel card under the sun visor in the car's cabin. If you are not sure what fuel your car uses, each car will have a relevant sticker on the fuel cap.

I discovered that the car had been damaged. What to do?

If the damage is not marked with a sticker, take pictures of the damage and send them to info@avisnow.eu.

What should I do if I have a car accident?

I ended the ride in the app but accidentally kept the car key/fuel card or forgot my personal belongings in the car. How to behave?

Call our 24-hour support number +372 605 1144, and we will open the car doors remotely without you having to start a new trip.

What to do if the car is dirty?

Are the cars insured?

Yes, all our cars are insured.

Which cars are in the selection?

Toyota Corolla, Škoda Scala, and Peugeot 308 models. All cars are new and well equipped.

Scooters

How to open a scooter?

To open a scooter, you must either select the scooter from the map view through the application or scan the QR code of the sticker on the scooter handlebar.

How to ride a scooter?

First, push the scooter slightly forward to get it off the support leg. Step on the standing plate with one foot and push a small momentum to the scooter. Then press the accelerator button on the right side of the handlebar to accelerate and the brake on the left side to decelerate. There is also a clock on the left handle. To return the scooter to the support leg, press the support leg down and pull the scooter toward you.

I discovered that the scooter is not ridable. Where should I report?

Be sure to report if the scooter is not visually ridable, the tires are not in good condition and with sufficient pressure, the brakes or gas are not working properly, or the scooter makes strange noises while riding. Where can the scooter be parked?

To end the ride, park the scooter in the same place where you started riding. Make sure that the scooter is properly parked in the designated parking area so that the access roads remain clear.

I want to park the scooter temporarily. How can I lock the scooter?

You can use the "Lock" button in the application to temporarily stop/park outside the green parking zone. During the locking, the minute-based charge will continue.

The scooter ran out of battery while riding. What to do?

It is the rider's responsibility to plan their ride so that you end the ride again at the starting point, taking into account the condition of the scooter's battery. You are obliged to leave the scooter in the parking area even if the battery has run out before and you cannot ride the scooter. The fee for the use of the scooter is calculated until the scooter is locked at the starting point of the ride. Leaving the wheel outside the parking area by the user may be prevented by technical measures or may result in additional charges.

I was involved in an accident, breakdown, injury, or damage to health while using the scooter, or the scooter was stolen. What to do?

Report this to the police on 112 and call the Avis Now team's 24-hour support number +372 605 1144.

Scooter rules:

- Ride the scooter alone. Riding a scooter with multiple people on it is illegal and dangerous.

- It is illegal and strictly forbidden to ride a scooter under the influence of alcohol or any other substance. This will result in a fine and blocking of the user in Avis Now application.

- When riding a scooter, traffic regulations must be observed, and fellow road users must be taken into consideration.

- While riding, stay on a walking, cycling, or light traffic lane.

- Always wear a helmet.

Payment and fees

How is the service paid for/billed?

Payment for the services is made with a valid credit or debit card (Visa, MasterCard), which you have linked to your account in the application. To add a payment card, select "My Account" and "Add/Edit Payment Card" from the menu. To check the performance of the payment card, we reserve 50 cents from it. The amount will be added to your Avis Now account and can be used as a prepayment for your next trip. You can also add more than one card. After using the service, the system will automatically withdraw money from the account for the consumed service. An invoice for each trip is available to you under our Trip History app and will automatically be sent to your email address.

Price list

- Cars. Without the ride package, the price for using the car is 0.08 €/min and 0.22 €/km. If you plan to drive longer than 4 hours, we recommend that you choose one of our ride packages before you start the trip in the app to guarantee the best price. Our ride packages start at 24 hours and also include mileage. After purchasing a ride package, it must be activated (start a trip in the application) within 24 hours. If the time and/or kilometer limit included in the ride package is exceeded, using the car will continue on the basis of the current tariff. A separate invoice will be sent for the number of minutes, and/or kilometers exceeded.

- Scooters. Scooter ride starting price is 0.50 €, time fee 0,07€/min and pause fee 0,03€/min. The maximum price for one trip is 15 €.
